Speculative Cartographies is an exhibition of studio research and research-creation undertaken at five mass graves of Jewish victims of the Holocaust which have been identified by the Zapomniane Foundation. Angela Henderson and Solomon Nagler explore the knowledge archived in landscape through mapping this information using technology and site specific materials, focusing on the connections between the natural environment and human history. Through this work, these histories are affectively counter-archived to act as a memorial for the lives lost at these sites.
