The Afronautic Research Lab is an installation of a collection of documents and primary resources that counter what is presented as true history in Newfoundland, highlighting hidden connections to slavery. The public is invited to come into the room and engage with materials, which consists of newspapers from the 18th century and books that feature evidence of ships being built in Newfoundland that were used to transport slaves from Africa to the Caribbean and America.
