Installation

Billy Jacking is an installation by Jordan Bennett that includes video projection and multiple large format vinyl stickers. The combination of the vinyl sticker posters and the juxtaposed videos infer that an altercation is going to take place between the then Prime Minister of Canada and fictional Indigenous character. This altercation is in reference to Canada’s apologies for Indian Residential Schools and suggests that more needs to be done in regards to reparations for Indigenous peoples.
