Join us for a lunchtime screening of an interview with Daniel Paul, a notable Mi’kmaq Elder and historian, who will be discussing the recently-released fourth edition of We Were Not The Savages. This work sets the record straight on the invasion of Mi’kma’ki by Europeans, and demonstrates the ways in which the mistreatment of Indigenous peoples is not confined to the past. Copies of the work will be available for sale at the event.
